Blackcaps are the NRW Bundesliga Champions 2016

Blackcaps were crowned as the Bundesliga Champions from the NRW region for the season 2016.  The championship was decided after the 9th round, with 1 game still left to play.  By the end of the 9th round Blackcaps had won their 7th game of the season and their closest challengers Cologne CC had managed 5 wins and 1 draw by then making it impossible for them to surpass Blackcaps on the points tally with only 1 game left.  The championship was achieved with contributions from the whole squad with every member standing up to their roles. Not just that, but the NRW leader boards were dominated by Blackcaps players with Oascoroni Ahamed (Polash) and Venkatraman Ganesan finishing 2nd and 3rd on the batting charts, while Majeed Ahmadzai finished on top of the bowling charts. Kashif Shahab was 4th and Tarun Rawat finished 7th on the bowling leaderboards.  Majeed also received the best bowler award for the season, while the Most Valuable player went to Blackcaps skipper Venkatraman Ganesan for his all-round performance.
